Studying Abroad

Options available to students at the Tourism/Travel Management department

Tourism/Travel Management

At the Tourism/Travel Management department, Bachelor’s and Master’s students have the option of spending some time studying abroad, for example in the Bachelor degree programmes "Tourism and Travel Management" or "Aviation Management".

The department’s partner universities

The Tourism/Travel Management department has partnered up with many other international universities and is involved in the ERASMUS scheme with many of the European educational institutes. Students can reap numerous benefits from these fruitful partnerships, such as a reduction in tuition fees or fees may be completely waived at the foreign institution (ERASMUS+ - partnerships).

For the “Aviation Management” and “Aviation Management and Piloting – dual” Bachelor’s programmes, we also have partnerships with universities in the USA, Canada, China and South Korea.

Under certain conditions, the credits earned during a study stay at a foreign partner university can be recognised back in Germany

Partner universities of Hochschule Worms

Over and above departmental partnerships, students at the Tourism/Travel Management department can also opt to study at one of the Hochschule Worms’ partner universities across the globe. You can find an overview of all the partner universities here. You can see where all our outgoing students are currently studying on our university worldwide map. You can get detailed information on our partner universities and the grants available, as well as student testimonials, from our International Center.

Support

The Tourism/Travel Management department helps students to choose a partner university from the selection of departmental and Hochschule Worms’ partners, as well as to prepare for their residence abroad. Each student will conclude their own individual learning agreement. When planning to study abroad, notice periods for the application stage, as well as other rules, should be taken into consideration. Please get in touch with Mrs Orth-Reich in good time before you are due to study abroad.
