Admission and application

Aviation Management (MBA)

Tourism/Travel Management
Admission requirements

An MBA program generally requires a first academic degree (such as a bachelor's degree, diploma, master's degree) as well as study-relevant professional experience. The Aviation Management (MBA) program is also open to particularly qualified applicants without a first university degree, provided that suitability for the program can be established on the basis of other evidence.

Applicants with a first university degree must have at least 1 year of work experience relevant to the course (i.e. related to the aviation industry). The university degree must comprise at least 210 ECTS; missing ECTS can be supplemented by qualified evidence up to a maximum of 30 ECTS.

Applicants without a professional university degree require a general university entrance qualification or a completed professional training with a qualified qualification or a successfully completed master craftsman's examination or comparable examination. In addition, they must have at least 3 years of study-relevant work experience. Their suitability for study is determined on the basis of evidence to be submitted, which is used to check whether the practical professional skills and competencies acquired outside the university are equivalent to those taught in the Bachelor's degree programs Aviation Management, Aviation Management and Piloting and/or Air Traffic Management at Worms University of Applied Sciences.

Please note that the Aviation Management (MBA) program is a German-language degree program and therefore German language skills are required. For further information about language skills please see General application requirements.
