Orientation Program for Exchange Students

The International Center organizes an orientation program for all exchange students. This program helps you settle into campus and city life quickly.

Welcome Session and Campus Tour

The orientation begins with a welcome session. You meet other exchange students and the team of the International Center. We give you important information for your first weeks and your studies. Afterwards, you explore the campus together.

Choosing Courses and IT Systems

During the orientation, we help you with your final course selection. You also learn how to use our campus management systems (LSF and Moodle).

Help with Formalities

We also assist you with important administrative tasks. These include:

• opening a bank account
• enrolling at the university
• registering at the foreigner registration office
• organizing your health insurance

We offer multi-day excursions to Munich, Berlin or other major cities in Germany for exchange students during the winter and summer semesters. For these trips, there is a small additional fee.
