The International Center organizes an orientation program for all exchange students. This program helps you settle into your new campus and life in Worms.

Participation is mandatory. It is the first important step of your studies with us. Please check the Fact Sheet in our MoveOn online application for the exact dates [bitte prüfen: aussagekräftigen Link zum Fact Sheet in MoveOn hinterlegen].

The orientation begins with a welcome session. You will meet the International Center staff and receive important information for your first few weeks. Afterwards, we will explore the campus together.

During the orientation, we will also help you with the following tasks:

• Choosing your final courses.
• Using our campus systems, LSF and Moodle.
• Opening a bank account.
• Enrolling at the university.
• Registering at the local foreign registration office.
• Setting up your health insurance.

During the winter and summer semesters, we offer multi-day excursions to major German cities like Munich and Berlin. Please note that a small additional fee applies for these trips.

Throughout the semester, the university organizes various additional events. You can join coffee meetings, city trips, scavenger hunts, and other fun activities.
