We welcome guest lecturers and professors from all over the world. You can teach at Hochschule Worms for a short or a long period.

Is your home university an Erasmus+ partner of Hochschule Worms? Please contact your local Erasmus+ coordinator. They will help you apply for a temporary teaching position.

If your university is not an Erasmus+ partner, you can still apply as a guest lecturer. Please contact Joachim Mayer for more information about the application process.

Do you work at Hochschule Worms and want to teach abroad? You have two options for your stay. You can go abroad through the Erasmus+ program. You can also use programs and funding from the DAAD.

European partner universities in the Erasmus+ program can host you as a guest lecturer. The program funds and supports your stay abroad.

As a guest lecturer, you teach topics that the host university usually does not offer. You also help to develop joint curricula, teaching methods, and study materials.

You can receive Erasmus+ funding if you belong to one of these groups:

• Professors and instructors with a contract at Hochschule Worms
• Instructors who lack sufficient funds to support a stay abroad
• Part-time lecturers with a contract at Hochschule Worms
• Emeritus professors and retired instructors
• Full-time research associates

The Erasmus+ program offers the following support:

• Reimbursement of your travel costs
• Partial funding for your living costs during the stay
• Special grants if you have special needs

The DAAD is your second option for teaching abroad. We recommend this option if you want to teach at a university outside the Erasmus+ network.

The DAAD offers various programs and funding. You can apply for:

• Short-term and long-term lecturing positions.
• Special lecturing positions in North America.
• Opportunities for emeritus professors and retired instructors.
