We welcome guest lecturers and professors from all over the world. You can teach at Hochschule Worms for a short or a long period.

Is your home university an Erasmus+ partner of Worms University of Applied Sciences? Please contact your local Erasmus+ coordinator. They will help you apply for a temporary teaching post.

If your university is not an Erasmus+ partner, you can still apply as a guest lecturer. Please contact Joachim Mayer for more information about the application process.

Do you work at Worms University of Applied Sciences and want to teach abroad? You have two options for your stay. You can go abroad through the Erasmus+ programme. You can also make use of programmes and funding from the DAAD.

European partner universities in the Erasmus+ programme can host you as a guest lecturer. The programme funds and supports your stay abroad.

As a guest lecturer, you teach subjects that the host university does not normally offer. You also help to develop joint curricula, teaching methods and study materials.

You can receive Erasmus+ funding if you belong to one of the following groups:

• Professors and lecturers employed by Hochschule Worms
• Lecturers who lack sufficient funds to support a stay abroad
• Part-time lecturers with a contract at Worms University of Applied Sciences
• Emeritus professors and retired lecturers
• Full-time research associates

The Erasmus+ programme offers the following support:

• Reimbursement of your travel costs
• Partial funding towards your living costs during your stay
• Special grants if you have special needs

The DAAD is your second option for teaching abroad. We recommend this option if you wish to teach at a university outside the Erasmus+ network.

The DAAD offers a range of programmes and funding opportunities. You can apply for:

• Short-term and long-term lecturing posts.
• Special teaching positions in North America.
• Opportunities for emeritus professors and retired lecturers.
