Committees of the Faculty of Computer Science
The Faculty of Computer Science is organised through a number of committees. These committees make decisions on degree programmes and teaching, represent the students and advise the Faculty on its future development.

The Computer Science Student Council consists of students from the Faculty. Every winter semester, the students elect the Student Council at a general meeting.
The Student Council represents you in dealings with the university and supports you with all matters relating to your studies. It helps you with questions regarding examinations, examination regulations and technical issues. It also acts as a liaison between lecturers and students, supports first-year students with orientation and organises inter-departmental activities.
The official website of the Computer Science Student Council can be found at fsinf.hs-worms.de.

An advisory board meets approximately twice a year. It advises the Dean’s Office and the programme directors on the further development of teaching and research programmes. In doing so, it takes into account the requirements of the world of work and aims to provide an attractive, modern range of courses.
The Advisory Board also oversees the accreditation of degree programmes. It supports the Faculty with work placements, practical semesters and final-year projects, as well as in placing graduates in the labour market.
