International Business Administration (IBA) programme

On the International Business Administration (IBA) programme at Worms University of Applied Sciences, we prepare students for the diverse challenges of the business world. For almost 50 years, we have been combining a solid grounding in business administration with current topics – from international trade and logistics through to digital business and entrepreneurship.

The various degree programmes can be undertaken either as traditional degree courses or as cooperative study programmes. Personalised support, practice-oriented teaching and close links with businesses create the ideal conditions for tailoring your studies to your individual needs and preparing specifically for your future career.
The international focus and strong practical orientation provide valuable insights into the world of work and open up a wide range of prospects for starting a career.

The International Business Administration (IBA) programme combines business administration with digitalisation, international markets, logistics and entrepreneurship. Practical teaching, personalised support and close links with businesses open up a wide range of opportunities.
This allows you to tailor your studies to your individual needs and prepare specifically for your future career.

What can you study?
From Digital Business Management through to Logistics and International Trade, right through to Entrepreneurship: the International Business Administration (IBA) programme offers a range of specialisations and perspectives on the business world. You can choose to study either on a traditional full-time basis or through a cooperative study programme.

How do you study on the IBA programme?
Practical projects, real-world case studies from businesses and direct interaction with lecturers bring economic concepts to life. Small study groups, personalised support and short lines of communication create a learning environment where individual questions and direct dialogue are encouraged. We share insights into everyday student life on our Instagram channel @ibaworms.

Where do you gain practical experience?
Whether through a placement semester, a cooperative study programme, a company project or your final thesis: the link to professional practice is an integral part of the programme. Close links with companies open up opportunities for practical experience, insights into different career fields and initial professional contacts.

How international is IBA?
International university partnerships, study abroad programmes and course content with a global focus bring international perspectives to your studies. This allows you to combine your studies with experiences and contacts in other countries, even beyond the university.

What comes next?
IBA opens up a wide range of prospects for starting your career and for your future professional development. These include roles in internationally oriented companies as well as the development of your own business ideas.
