Welcome to the Centre for Collaboration and Technology Transfer
We foster partnerships between the university and businesses, support start-up and innovation initiatives, and strengthen the transfer of knowledge and technology to the region. Together with our partners, we develop new ideas, implement projects and create networks that link research, business and society.
In doing so, we see ourselves as enablers: we establish frameworks for collaboration, facilitate transfer processes and develop initiatives that bring academia and industry together on a sustainable basis.
Transfers & Partnerships
Innovation & Start-ups
Worms University of Applied Sciences positions itself as a powerful driving force for start-ups, ideas and innovation. We create an environment in which curiosity, a willingness to take risks and practice-oriented research lead to solutions that are relevant to society – with a focus on transferring knowledge from the campus into practice.
What we offer includes:
An open start-up culture that enables students, researchers and staff to realise their full potential.
A close integration of research, teaching and entrepreneurship to develop market-ready business ideas.
Individual support from the initial idea through to implementation.
Strong partnerships with regional stakeholders for knowledge, networks and infrastructure.
Sustainability as the guiding principle for all processes.
This paves the way for students to launch their own projects, brings fresh ideas and talent to businesses – and creates a vibrant innovation hub for the university.
