Your point of contact for research at Worms University of Applied Sciences
Research requires freedom, but also reliable support. The Research Office is the central point of contact for all researchers at Worms University of Applied Sciences and acts as a bridge between academia and administration. We take the pressure off you so that you can concentrate on your research. To this end, we identify suitable funding opportunities, support you through the application process and bring together people who can benefit from one another. At the same time, we work to raise the profile of research at our university and to strengthen its structures in the long term.
Keeping track of calls for proposals takes time. We research and analyse funding schemes, draw your attention to suitable opportunities and support you in preparing your applications, from the initial idea right through to submission. In addition, we coordinate research activities at the university and facilitate networking across departmental boundaries.
The Research Unit coordinates the state’s research initiative at Worms University of Applied Sciences and manages the associated funding. We are your point of contact for any enquiries regarding procedures, deadlines and the use of funds.
Good research deserves attention, both within and outside the university. We manage the research pages on the university website, develop communication strategies tailored to specific target groups and create new event formats that encourage dialogue. Acting as a liaison, we ensure that information flows effectively between researchers, the university management and the administration.
We play a part in shaping Worms University of Applied Sciences’ research strategy and continue to develop structures and processes that facilitate research. Your experience and suggestions are directly incorporated into this process.
