This research group is dedicated to incorporating moral considerations into computer science – in particular in software development, IT projects and AI-based algorithms.

The research group’s name draws on the founding myth of Silicon Valley companies, which started out in garages with very limited resources. In the spirit of applied sciences, we investigate practical and straightforward solutions.
