Why study the dual Digital Business Management degree programme?

The dual Bachelor’s degree programme in Digital Business Management (B.A.) combines in-depth business management knowledge with digital topics and the ongoing integration of theory and practice. The course content ranges from digital business models and data analysis, through the optimisation of business processes, to topics relating to digital transformation. Practice-oriented teaching and a focus on current developments in the digital economy provide a solid foundation for your future career.

The dual study programme brings together the university and partner companies in a block model: a study phase of around 12 weeks at the university is followed by an examination period at the university, before the next practical phase of approximately 12 weeks begins at the partner company. Thereafter, the university and the company alternate again. This allows the knowledge and methods taught on the programme to be applied directly in day-to-day business operations and consolidated through specific tasks and projects. Close collaboration with the partner company provides insights into business processes and establishes initial professional contacts whilst you are still studying.

Direct interaction with lecturers and personalised support foster close relationships and help you to explore your own specialist interests in greater depth. International course content and a wide range of optional modules complement the programme, allowing you to tailor your studies to your individual needs and combine them with the experiences gained from day-to-day business life.
The Bachelor of Arts degree opens up a wide range of career prospects, for example in the fields of digital transformation, digital business model development, project and innovation management, management consultancy or within technology companies. By combining university study with practical experience, a close link to the professional world is established whilst you are still studying.

Raghad, 3 March 2026 – Digital Business Management (BA)
So far, I’ve really enjoyed the degree programme as I’ve realised that it suits my personality very well and I can definitely see myself pursuing it in the future. Going to university and being productive hasn’t been a burden for me. What’s more, the degree programme is very interesting and covers a wide range of different areas.

Positive experiences

Lena, 27 February 2026 – Digital Business Management (BA)
I’d highly recommend the course content; there’s also free access to various tools, such as Adobe, which I think is great. However, activities outside of lectures are a bit neglected. Digitalisation is also given too little attention.

It is a varied and exciting degree programme

Clement, 2 February 2026 – Digital Business Management (BA)
From the lectures to the facilities, studying in Worms is a great experience and there’s nothing to complain about. There are plenty of activities on offer for students, and the lecturers are all very open and helpful, which is a great help and makes studying a really enjoyable experience.

Future-proof

Filiz, 10 November 2025 – Digital Business Management (BA)
The lecturers introduce the topics during the first week, with a focus on future-oriented learning. The course content is well tailored to the degree programme and is delivered at an appropriate pace. The lecturers have high expectations of the students, which further promotes academic success.
