Course content

The Master’s degree in Business Informatics lasts four semesters.

In the first semester, you will lay the subject-specific foundations. You will study software project management, process management and digital innovation management.

In the second semester, you will deepen your methodological and subject-specific knowledge. You will study leadership and information management, undertake academic work in a seminar and continue to develop your chosen specialisation: Business Information Technology, Digital Business Management or Finance and Controlling.

In the third semester, you will apply your knowledge in practice. You will study software architecture for digitalisation and undertake a Master’s project: a smaller, practice-oriented task that can also serve as a preliminary project for your Master’s thesis.

In the fourth semester, you will complete your degree with your Master’s thesis. You will usually carry this out in collaboration with a company.
