Below you will find an overview of the most important legal frameworks relating to the allocation of study places, enrolment and examinations, as well as the relevant documents available for download.
The allocation of places is governed by the Rhineland-Palatinate Regulation on the Allocation of University Places (StPVLVO). The Worms University of Applied Sciences’ Admissions Regulations set out these requirements in more detail and, in particular, govern the admission quotas and the admissions procedure.
The currently valid version dates from 14 January 2020 and was last amended on 4 June 2024.
Following a successful selection process, you will enrol in accordance with the current Enrolment Regulations (EO). These regulations govern, amongst other things:
- the general entry requirements,
- admission, enrolment, re-enrolment and leave of absence,
- auditor status and preliminary studies,
- withdrawal from the university.
The new Enrolment Regulations (EO 2022) will come into force from the 2026/27 winter semester. Foreign qualifications must then be verified in advance via uni-assist. German-language higher education qualifications will continue to be accepted as proof of sufficient language proficiency.
