Why study International Business with Logistics and International Trade?

The Bachelor’s degree programme in International Business with Logistics and International Trade – dual (B.A.) combines in-depth business management knowledge with international business relations, as well as the fields of international trade and logistics. You will learn to understand international markets and business processes, design global supply chains, organise foreign trade transactions and support companies in competing on the international stage.

The dual study model combines theory and practice in a block format: a study phase of around 12 weeks at the university is followed by an examination period at the university, before the next practical phase of approximately 12 weeks begins at the partner company. Thereafter, the university and the company alternate again. This enables you to apply the knowledge acquired during your studies directly within the company and to deepen your understanding through specific tasks and projects. Direct interaction with lecturers and close collaboration with the partner company create a personalised and practical study experience.

International course content and a wide range of options allow you to set your own individual academic priorities. At the same time, you gain extensive professional experience whilst still studying, become familiar with different areas of the business and establish your first professional contacts.
A Bachelor of Arts degree opens up a wide range of career prospects – for example, in the fields of foreign trade, international marketing and sales, procurement and supply chain management, logistics and international project management.

I was really impressed by the diversity of the degree programme. It’s never boring, maintains a high standard and keeps you on your toes. The university has a well-organised campus, where the various student societies sometimes organise events.

Things worth knowing, taught by professional lecturers

Vanessa, 10 December 2025 – International Business with Logistics and International Trade (BA)
The university is quite small but very appealing. The degree programme is very interesting, particularly the specialisation modules. The lecturers are very friendly and are open to answering questions. Communication is a top priority. The lectures are informative and you learn a great deal simply by listening.

Positive experiences

Lena, 27 February 2026 – Digital Business Management (BA)
The course content is highly recommended, and there is also free access to various tools, such as Adobe, which I think is great. However, activities outside of lectures are a bit neglected. Digitalisation is also not given enough attention.

It is a varied and exciting degree programme

Clement, 2 February 2026 – Digital Business Management (BA)
From the lectures to the facilities, studying in Worms is a great experience and there’s nothing to complain about. There are plenty of activities on offer for students, and the lecturers are all very open and helpful, which is a great help and makes studying a really enjoyable experience.

The lecturers introduce the topics during the first week, with a focus on future-oriented learning. The course content is well tailored to the degree programme and is delivered at an appropriate pace. The lecturers have high expectations of the students, which further promotes academic success.
