Erasmus+ in Europe
Would you like to get to know other European countries and expand your professional, linguistic, and intercultural skills? If so, you can gain study experience abroad through Erasmus+.
The Erasmus+ program provides financial support. You do not pay tuition fees at the partner university.
You can have academic credits earned abroad recognized, subject to consultation with your department.
You can apply for a period of study abroad during the summer or winter semester each year between November 12 and December 12.
Erasmus+ allows you to study at a European partner university. The program fosters cooperation in the fields of general education and higher education.
Study abroad opportunities are available at partner universities in the following countries:
The 27 European Union member states: Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Cyprus
Iceland, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia, and Turkey
Great Britain, provided a corresponding Erasmus successor agreement is in place with the respective partner university
Application
Erasmus+ exchange places are based on subject-specific agreements between departments or institutes and foreign partner universities.
You may only apply for exchange places covered by such an agreement; applications independent of these agreements are not possible.
Further information regarding the number of places available at each partner university can be found in our intranet database.
