Within the span of just a few days, two members of the SIVERT research college have successfully completed their doctoral studies: Sebastian Zillien defended his dissertation on September 3, 2026, followed by Raju Ningappa Mulawade on September 11. Both doctorates were pursued through a cooperative doctoral program with the Rhineland-Palatinate Technical University of Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU). The majority of their research work was conducted at Worms University of Applied Sciences.

Florian Diller, from the UX-Vis research group at Worms University of Applied Sciences, successfully defended his doctoral thesis at the University of Leipzig on November 12 and now holds the title of Dr. rer. nat. The defense took place in the presence of his family and his partner.
