All students who are enrolled at Worms University of Applied Sciences, are within the standard period of study and are expected to remain enrolled on their degree programme at Worms University of Applied Sciences for at least two further semesters are eligible to apply. Both German and international students are eligible to apply. School pupils who wish to commence their studies in the coming winter semester are also eligible to apply. 300 euros per month – half of which is funded by private sponsors (e.g. companies, foundations, associations) and half by the federal government.
How long does the scholarship last?
The grant generally covers at least two semesters and extends for a maximum of the standard duration of study. Once a year, the university checks whether the scholarship holder continues to meet all the eligibility criteria. The scholarship is not paid out during an official leave of absence from your studies. As soon as you resume your studies following the leave of absence, the scholarship’s approval period will be adjusted accordingly upon your notification. The period of the leave of absence is not counted towards the funding period.
