FBI-Bot: Launch of an AI-based chatbot for the Faculty of Computer Science
We are currently working on an AI-powered chatbot designed to help prospective students find answers to frequently asked questions about studying computer science at Worms University of Applied Sciences.
This test page offers you the opportunity to try out the chatbot in its beta version and to actively support its further development and optimisation.
You can ask questions on topics such as course content, application deadlines or everyday student life – the chatbot will endeavour to provide the most helpful information possible.
As the chatbot is still in the development phase, it is being continuously optimised and expanded.
Why a chatbot?
A chatbot for prospective students: simple, straightforward, brilliant.
The idea behind the chatbot is quite simple: prospective students have lots of questions – about degree programmes, application deadlines, entry requirements or everyday student life.
A member of staff isn’t always available straight away, nor is the relevant information always easy to find.
An AI-powered chatbot can help here by answering frequently asked questions round the clock and providing easy access to information.
The aim is to make starting a degree in Computer Science at Worms University of Applied Sciences even easier and more accessible.

What computer science degree programmes are on offer?
What is the application process for the winter semester?
Do I need any prior knowledge or a pre-study work placement?
and much more.
What happens next?
The project doesn’t end here – it’s only just beginning: the chatbot is constantly being optimised to improve the user experience.
To help us do this as effectively as possible, we’d be delighted to receive your feedback by email.
