first Department 1 – Human Resources & Organisation is your central point of contact for HR matters at Worms University of Applied Sciences. We support staff, applicants and managers throughout every stage of their employment – from recruitment to professional development.
Together, we shape HR processes and continuously refine our structures. Our aim is to create a supportive environment for collaboration and development.

Who we are
We are the central point of contact for all HR matters at Worms University of Applied Sciences. As such, we advise staff, managers and applicants, and play an active role in shaping our university’s HR processes. In doing so, we place great emphasis on transparent processes and cooperation based on trust, so that we can develop sustainable solutions together.
Our responsibilities
- Advising employees on all HR matters
- Support with recruitment and promotion procedures
- Advice on employment law, collective bargaining agreements and civil service law
- Promoting staff development and further training
- Further development of structures and processes
