VPN (Cisco Secure Client)
Using the Cisco Secure Client (AnyConnect) VPN and two-factor authentication (2FA token), you can establish an encrypted connection to Worms University of Applied Sciences’ campus network.
This gives you access, from home or whilst on the move, to internal services and academic resources at Worms University of Applied Sciences for which you are authorised.
These include, for example:
- e-books and electronic journals from the library
- Remote desktop connections
- Software applications such as SPSS
Please note:
Operating system-native VPN clients are not supported for the required two-factor authentication. You should therefore use the Cisco Secure Client.
1. VPN: Install and set
up the Cisco Secure Client (AnyConnect) Install the Cisco Secure Client (AnyConnect) using the instructions for your operating system.
You will need your university account to log in to the VPN client.
No separate authorisation is required for VPN access.
