Why study Lifestyle Product Management?
What makes a fashion brand distinctive? Why does a beauty product become a trend? On the Bachelor’s degree programme in Lifestyle Product Management at Worms University of Applied Sciences, you will study business administration with a clear focus on the lifestyle and consumer goods sectors. Whether it’s fashion, beauty, food, sport or consumer electronics: you’ll learn how companies develop products, position brands and make business decisions.
You’ll examine product management, marketing and retail management in an integrated manner – from customer needs and product ideas, through financing and marketing, to sales and customer loyalty. Through case studies and projects, you’ll apply your knowledge and develop your own concepts.
Whether it’s fashion management, marketing for beauty brands or the development of new product concepts for the sports goods sector: this degree programme prepares you for a wide range of professional roles.
Course content
You will learn the fundamentals of a business studies degree and apply them to the lifestyle sector right from the start. In doing so, you will explore questions that are crucial in areas such as fashion management: How does a trend become a viable product idea? What sets a brand apart from its competitors? And how does it reach its customers through social media marketing?
As the programme progresses, you will deepen your knowledge of e-commerce, retail and business management. You will develop business ideas, analyse consumer behaviour through market research and learn to use AI-supported data analysis to make informed decisions. Two semesters spent studying abroad will give you international experience and, if you wish, insights into business practice.
Course structure: From product idea to market success
