The deadline for applying to Worms University of Applied Sciences depends on the degree programme. You can find all the information on application periods under ‘Application periods and deadlines’.
Yes. The sooner you apply, the sooner we will process your application. This means you will be able to see in good time on the portal whether any documents are missing and take appropriate action. We will not process applications submitted shortly before the deadline until after the deadline has passed.
Please submit a further application within the application period. You may submit a maximum of three applications. Once we have received them via the application portal, we will review the further applications promptly.
Please note: You cannot change details that have already been checked. We will automatically carry these over to your new applications.
Questions regarding the application documents
The documents we require depend on the degree programme and the application process. You can find an overview under ‘Centralised Application Procedure (DoSV)’ and ‘Decentralised Application Procedure’.
During the online application process, you will be asked to upload documents at various stages. Please ensure that the documents are clearly legible. We are unable to assess documents that are illegible.
In some cases, we may require a certified copy or the original.
Yes, you must. If you are applying with foreign qualifications, uni-assist will first check your documents and issue a preliminary assessment report (VPD).
You can find an overview of all the requirements for applicants with foreign qualifications here.
Once we have processed your application, the status of your applications will change. If we are still missing any documents, we will indicate this on the university’s portal.
Tip: Log in to the portal regularly so that you can see any changes to your status.
When applying via the application portal, please state your student number. We also require a current CV. Further entry requirements may apply to the new degree programme. You can find further information on the relevant degree programme page.

Please note: To enable us to send you your admission letter by post, please apply for enrolment in good time.
Yes, that is possible. You can receive several offers at the same time or at different times.
However, as soon as you accept an offer of admission or apply for enrolment, all other applications for DoSV degree programmes will automatically lapse.
