Welcome to the Green Office’s swap cupboard!
There’s a new way to be sustainable on campus: the swap cupboard. Here, you can drop off items in good condition or take away things you can use – it’s really straightforward and free of charge.
What is the swap cupboard and where is it located?
The swap cupboard is a central hub, set up by the Green Office, where you can swap items without both people having to be there at the same time. It works on a simple principle:
Bring something or take something. It doesn’t have to be a one-for-one swap.
Location: A Building, room with the card top-up machine
Why is there a swap cabinet?
The swap cabinet is designed to…
Promote sustainability: items are used for longer and are less likely to end up in the bin.
Save money: Everything is free, ideal for a student’s budget.
Strengthen the community: The cupboard encourages sharing, swapping and socialising.
Please note!
What can go in?
