Yoga

Welcome to the Yoga Academy of the Computer Science Department - the Tech Yogis Computer Science

Computer Science

Yoga is a practical philosophy that helps us lead better and happier lives. Especially in the digital world of life and work, elements of yoga can provide balance.

The physical exercises of yoga, known as asanas, were originally developed to help us sit comfortably and pain-free in meditation. But even if programming is more important to you than meditating, yoga can help you get through your work with a pain-free body, concentrated mind, and clearer focus.

Our Yoga Academy offers yoga practices tailored specifically to the needs of computer scientists.

We understand the challenges you face in your student and later professional life, and help you maintain a healthy lifestyle and reduce stress.   The methods and practices of yoga help you to cope with the sometimes stressful project life as a computer scientist and enables you to build resilience for professional and private challenges. This will give you the mental tools for your future.

Whether you are a beginner or already have experience with yoga: everyone is welcome to participate in the yoga practice, a special physical constitution, flexibility or fitness is NOT required.

Learn how to promote your physical health, mental clarity and inner peace through yoga.
