Why do I need this?

Eduroam provides free internet via wireless LAN roaming (and via LAN in the student residence) which can be used by university members. Eduroam supplies, for example, the cafeteria, lecture halls, libraries and open spaces. Further information: www.eduroam.de | www.eduroam.org.
