Individual Consultancy

The Career Center offers individual consultancy for non German speaking students in English. The service is provided by the Academic Team of the Employment Agency Mainz on the premises of this university.

This consultancy is specifically designed for incoming international students studying a bachelors or masters course in the English language at this university. The consultancy addresses students who are looking for a place to work in Germany and are facing one of the following situations.

• The student has to find a place for an internship according to his or her course regulations.
• The student wants to find a place in a company that is willing to support his or her bachelor or master thesis.
• The student plans to stay in Germany after his or her graduation and is looking for a direct job-entry place or a trainee position.
• The student wants to find a position as a working student, where he/she can make use of the know-how and skills, acquired and trained during his/her university studies.

The individual consultancy addresses your individual career needs. The consultancy is designed to help you improve your written job applications and assist you throughout the application process. Advice will be given to ensure your application documents meet standards expected in Germany.

Appointment booking:

As of now, you can book an appointment via Moodle for one of the counselling days listed below. If you urgently need counselling outside of the days mentioned, you can also make an appointment directly with the consultant of the university team of the Employment Agency by email (Mainz.152-Berufsberatung@arbeitsagentur.de).

Important note: In exceptional cases, counselling can take place by telephone. If you would like to receive counseling by phone, please send your phone number via email to career@hs-worms.de directly after your booking, so that the consultant can call you on your booked date.
