Fraport AG regularly offers students in our aviation degree programmes the opportunity to complete internships or write practice-oriented bachelor's theses at one of the world's leading airport groups.

 


As part of the Fraport Group, the FraSec Unternehmensgruppe provides security and other services at Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Hamburg and Berlin airports. Its services include passenger control, queue management, baggage services and escort services. Students have the opportunity to gain valuable practical experience at FraSec and gain insights into the working world of a security company.

 


As a specialist in global e-commerce solutions within the Lufthansa Group, heyworld GmbH is a popular provider of internships for our students. 


Sustainability is the defining issue of the century. Sustainable solutions are also needed in aviation. As a network partner, the Department of Tourism/Transport exchanges views with the Green Aviation Hub on current developments and challenges related to sustainable aviation solutions.


The Department of Tourism/Transport is an advisory member of the non-profit organisation Impact on Sustainable Aviation e.V. IMPACT acts as an intermediary between aviation companies and the financial sector with a view to achieving the European sustainability goals. Its members include renowned banks, lessors, investors and academic institutions.


University Aviation Association (UAA)

The Department of Tourism / Travel Management of Hochschule Worms is a proud member of University Aviation Association (UAA).

The not-for-profit association founded in 1947 with headquarters in Auburn, USA, boasts more than 525 members, including 105 leading colleges that offer degree courses in the field of aviation. The development and promotion of academic education in aviation and the creation of networks between universities, governments and the aviation industry are the main objectives of this organization.

The department of Tourism / Travel Management at Hochschule Worms plans to use its membership to expand its international network of partner colleges in the aviation sector. The targeted initiation of university cooperation arrangements in this field is intended to especially provide the students of aviation-related study programmes more opportunities to complete part of their studies abroad.
