Dear first semester students at the Department of Tourism and Travel Management,

Thank you for choosing to study at the Department of Tourism and Travel Management at the University of Applied Sciences Worms!

You can soon access your timetable via LSF (lsf.hs-worms.de). Instructions for the timetable in LSF as well as instructions for other functions of LSF can be found here.

You can enroll in the lecture courses in moodle (moodle.hs-worms.de) by using your university login soon. You can find it on the hompage in the „study programmes“-section under downloads. General information regarding your studies can further be found in moodle under „Important and useful information“. You can find assistance on how to log in to the moodle system and how to use it on the website of the University's IT-Department.

For further information, we have compiled an information booklet for first semester students. You can find it in moodle under Information for first-semester students. Your university login details (e.g. for Moodle) will automatically be made available for you to download via the ICMS portal once you have successfully enrolled. You will be notified by email when they are available. A quick guide explains how to retrieve your login details.

Schedule

The first semester students welcome will take place on Thursday, 24 September 2026.

9:00 am Building B, Audimax	Welcome by the University Governance of the Worms University of Applied Sciences for all study programs. Presentation of the most important contact points for first-term students: Student Service Computer Center Library International Center Central Student Advisory Service Presentation of the student bodies AStA, StuPa and Student Councils. For students of aviation degree programmes Aviation Management (B.A.), Aviation Management – dual (B.A.), Aviation Management and Piloting – dual (B.Sc.) and Air Traffic Management – dual (B.Sc.) this will be followed by: Campus tour of the Tourism/Travel Management Student Council. Meeting point is in front of building B.
10am - 2pm	Picking up student ID cards
10:30 am Building D	Welcome of the first semester students of the degree programmes Tourism and Travel Management (B.A.), Tourism and Travel Management – dual (B.A.) and International Tourism Management (M.A.). This will be followed by a campus tour of the Tourism/Travel Management Student Council. Meeting point is in front of building B.
12:00 noon Building D	Welcome of the first semester of the aviation degree programmes Aviation Management (B.A.), Aviation Management – dual (B.A.), Aviation Management and Piloting – dual (B.Sc.) and Air Traffic Management – dual (B.Sc.).
