Learn Currency Risk Management Playfully
Students and specialists in the areas of treasury / banking and international business are often required to learn the competent use of instruments to hedge currency risks as part of their training. The necessary knowledge and skills are complex and not always intuitive.
Centerpiece of the ForexLab project is the development of a mobile app with which these skills can be acquired playfully. In realistic scenarios, users are confronted with business transactions of increasing complexity and have to develop and implement a suitable holistic risk management strategy. Forex Lab evaluates the strategy according to metrics that are easy to understand and comparable among users. Over time, users acquire intuition when considering and optimizing the various metrics and thus build competence in dealing with the hedging instruments.
