Dear international students,

We are happy to announce, that we have the opportunity to award DAAD Graduation Grants for international degree-seeking students, funded by the Federal Foreign Ministry.

The scholarship consists of a one-off payment of 1.000 € (one thousand €uro).

The application portal will open on this site from April 16th -- May 18th, 2025.

To apply for a graduation scholarship in the Summer Semester 2025, please complete the below application form by May 18th, 2025, 12:00 PM (noon) and do not forget to attach the required documents:

1. motivational letter (at least one (1) page in PDF format in which you describe your current situation and explain why you should get the scholarship)

2. plan of studies (brief overview of your current studies: current semester, ECTS achieved, ECTS open until graduation - you can just list bullet points, no elaboration needed)

3. current(!) Transcript of Records (Worms U)

Selection criteria include:

- your academic performance
- your expected graduation time (max. one (1) year and 60 ECTS open until graduation)
- your current situation (graduation grants are intended to support international students to focus on their studies and their graduation, when they have been experiencing financial hardships through no fault of their own)

The selection process will start after the application deadline, and we will inform all interested candidates as soon as a decision has been made.
